Connect Blackboard
Blackboard hides the calendar link on phones. If you're setting up on your phone, Gloss offers Finish on your laptop: open Gloss on your computer and you're done in 30 seconds.
Steps
- Open Blackboard on a laptop and sign in with your school login.
- Open the Calendar.
- Open Calendar Settings (the gear), then the menu (⋯), then Share Calendar.
- Copy the link. It ends in
learn.ics. - In Gloss, tap Blackboard (on Connect your school during setup, or in Settings later) and paste it.
Blackboard Ultra and Original use the same kind of link.
What Blackboard's link leaves out
- Anything more than a year in the past or the future.
- Assignments with no due date.
- You can't share one course at a time. Blackboard shares all of your courses together, and Gloss sorts them back into your classes using your schedule.

If it says zero events
After the first sync, Gloss checks what actually came through. A link that returns a sign in page, or zero events when you have classes, is shown as broken with a red banner, never as "all clear". See Fix a broken calendar link.
